Gold Medal
The IUGG Gold Medal is the highest honour of the IUGG, established in 2013 to award Earth and space scientists for outstanding contributions to geodesy and geophysics 樱花视频在线. The Medal is presented by the IUGG President at IUGG General Assembly following the announcement of the award. The Awardee is bestowed the Medal, a Medal certificate and Honorary Membership of IUGG. Furthermore, the Awardee will be invited to give the Gold Medal Lecture at the General Assembly.
Fellowship (Honorary Membership)
The IUGG Fellowship (Honorary Membership) is a tribute awarded by the Bureau to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to international cooperation in geodesy or geophysics, and have attained eminence in the field of Earth and space science. The awardees should have been active in the IUGG or within one or several IUGG Associations or Union Commissions for at least 10 years. Honorary Members are bestowed a Silver Medal and a certificate of IUGG Fellowship, which is presented by the IUGG President at the Awards Ceremony of the IUGG General Assembly following the announcement of the awards. IUGG Executive Committee and Finance Committee members and Association Secretaries General will become IUGG conferred Fellows upon retirement from their office 樱花视频高清.
Early Career Scientist Award
This IUGG Early Career Scientist Award honours early career scientists for their outstanding research in Earth and space sciences and for their international research cooperation 樱花视频免费观看. IUGG Early Career Scientist Awards are presented by the IUGG President at the IUGG General Assembly following the announcement of the awards. The awardees are bestowed a certificate. IUGG covers travel expenses of the awardees to attend the General Assembly. The awardees will be invited to make a presentation at the General Assembly.
